One day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking something up and gently throwing it in the ocean.
Approaching the boy, he asked, "What are you doing?"
The youth replied, "Throwing starfish back into the ocean.
The surf is up and the tide is going out. If I don't throw them back they'll die."
"Son," the man said, "don't you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish?
You can't make a difference!"
After listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it back into th surf.
Then, smiling at he man, he said..."
I made a difference for that one."

The world won't change if you are just sitting there!
If we intend to prevent gloabal warming then we ALL have to take action!
1. You can raise awareness on this issue. Inform everyone you know with information on the rising temperatures of the globe.
2. Try to ride your bike more often. Stop begging
your mother to drive you everywhere and walk
places with your friends. Get your parents
permission and walk home from school or to
school and give the bus a break!
3.Replace the light bulbs in your house with ones
that produce less carbon dioxide.
Changing one single light bulb can save you
around 300 lbs. or carbon dioxide a year! 4. Wrap your water heater in an insulated blanket.
5. Plant! You can get together with all your friends and plant flowers and trees.
